The Grand County 4-H Shooting Sports Council cannot thank you enough for hosting our first Fun Shoot fundraiser!  We did really well and couldn’t have done it without your facility, help, promotion, and members!  We’ve shared some photos on our Facebook page “Grand County 4-H Shooting Sports."

4-h Fun shoot 2024

The shotgun side of our fun shoot had a BLAST as well!  Thanks to all who came out to support our fundraiser - participants, 4-H members and families, shooting sports leaders, Blue Valley Sportsman Club for hosting and Crooked Creek Trap Club for attending!  Thanks to the businesses for your generous donations: Elk River Guns, Fitch Ranch Meats, Ferguson Plumbing Supply, Wood Cattle Co, Allison's Pantry, Bear Mountain Outfitters, Wearable Western Art, Engraves, Cookies by Chloe, Mercella Cordova and Sarah Bevard

The archery side of our fun shoot had a blast today! Congratulations to our winners. Brad Probst won the long shot competition with 3" from bullseye at 99.7 yards. Elhi Castro won the 3d range today. We had great turn out with the best sponsors. Hope to see you all next year!

4-H fundraising Support

Opportunities to Support 4-H

4-H Shooting Sports is one of the most expensive of 4-H activities that youth can participate in and the formation of a Shooting Sports Council allows them to raise money to assist specifically with shooting sports.  This is a new venture that we are proud to be involved with, as supporting youth shooting opportunities is one of our club's main missions. Blue Valley Sportsman's Club is proud to be involved with fundraising opportunities, as supporting youth shooting opportunities is one of our club's main missions.


We also encourage members to sign up for City Market Community Rewards.  City Market makes donations to the Grand County 4-H Shooting Sports Council based on purchases made by those who are signed up through their City Market loyalty account.  You know....the one that gets you discounts at their gas pumps.  Below are a couple of documents that explain how to sign up for Community Rewards.  The best thing is that you still get your gas discount and City Market donates to the Council.
