This year there will be a Skeet/Stand League. Instead of 20 rounds of skeet shooting it will be shooting 10 rounds of skeet and 10 rounds of 5-Stand. We will have at least 1 skeet field open along with the 5-stand every time we open up for league. We will shoot 250 birds of 5-stand and 250 birds of skeet for a 500 bird total. If you don’t want to shoot 5-stand and want to just shoot skeet that’s fine but only 250 birds will count toward the top gun prizes.
Shooting will begin Thursday, July TBD and will end Thursday, Sept. TBD with and an End of Season shoot on Saturday Sept. TBD. Thursdays and Sundays are the days to shoot, trying to be completed by October (for hunting seasons). Cost will be $130.00 per shooter [$150 for non-club members]. We need all the help we can get for set-up and take down, scoring, etc.
We have one rule modification: If you hit a proof double on skeet and get both birds with one shot, you have one more try to get the two shots. If you get another double, we will score it as a hit. We are trying to not waste shells and birds.
Blue Valley Sportsman Club’s Trap League will start the week of May 5th , with week 10
ending on July 7th 2025 . The end of league shoot will be on July 19th . League shooting will be on either Wednesday or Thursday evenings with make up available on Sundays. Packets are due by May 1, 2024. The week of July 4th will be a bye week.
Team fees are $725 total, plus $20 for each team member that is not a BVSC members. Individual rounds are $7 for members and $8 for non-members. Punch cards are available for $60 for 11 rounds for members and $70 for 11 rounds for non-members. Punch cards you have in your possession can still be used.
